This is a temporary role throug Magnit for a leading techology company in the world. This role is fully remote in the US ONLY.

Job Title: Sr. UX Researcher

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead and execute research to understand the context and needs of employees through qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies, from discovery to implementation.
  • Work collaboratively inside a cross-functional team of designers, effectively integrating research findings into the product definition and design phases.
  • Communicate research findings through artifacts such as presentations, charts, and visual

What you need to be successful in this role:

    • At least 5 years of experience leading and conducting research projects on web-based and mobile apps utilizing a variety of methodologies, such as user interviews, usability testing, information architecture, surveys, concept testing, data analysis, statistics, benchmarking, etc.
    • Must have very strong written and verbal English communication skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Must be a storyteller to visualize technically complex topics and make them easy to understand for all stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of accessibility.
    • Must thrive on highly technical and complex environments and be able to deal with uncertainty.
    • Must be able to meet challenges with a positive and problem-solving attitude, while being proactive, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Experience with UserTesting, Qualtrics and OptimalWorkshop to conduct research; and Figma to collaborate with Designers when preparing to conduct research to walk-through prototypes and designs.

Education:

Master’s degree in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or any other related field. A working experience of the equivalent is also acceptable for the position. 

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $85-$95/hr
