Job Description



The purpose of this job is to provide support for the various applications, processes, data, and reports utilized by the company, guests, and vendors; develop fixes, features, and enhancements for new and existing applications.

  1. Create and develop new application software as well as develop features and functionality for existing software under direction from management or senior team members
  2. Add features, fixes, and enhancements to new and existing applications, processes, and reports; identify technology to use and determine solution for development of new features and enhancements
  3. Troubleshoot and analyze issues with applications, processes, data, and reports; determine appropriate action to follow to resolve issues
  4. Test application code, features, functionality, and fixes; provide quality assurance (QA) for developers as needed
  5. Deploy code with established CI pipelines using company provided tools; adhere to established standards for version control and change management
  6. Collaborate with Developers, Admins, Business Analysts, and users to assist in supporting day-to-day business functions
  7. Create new documentation and update existing documentation for IT systems and process; determine the related format, process, and diagrams to be used in the creation of materials
  8. Assist team members through mentoring, collaboration, and code review
  9. Collaborate with business users to define and/or clarify requirements for new or modified features
  10. Train support staff and other team members on the proper use and troubleshooting of software applications
  11. Code, test, debug, document and implement web applications using a variety of languages and platforms
  12. Develop features and functionality for new and existing software applications
  13. Provide support for existing software applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes
  14. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  15. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures
  16. Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; Master's degree preferred, preferably in computer science or MIS
  • Apex, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript development experience required
  • Minimum three years’ experience in Salesforce development
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 and Salesforce Platform Developer 2 Certifications preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc) required
  • Advanced knowledge of Apex, SOQL and LWC (HTML/CSS/JS) required
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce Administration required, advanced understanding preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of various Salesforce Clouds preferred (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Revenue)
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle preferred
  • Experience with version control like Git required
  • Experience with a DevOps tool like Gearset preferred
  • Ability to write and understand moderately complex queries preferred
  • Ability to work with REST API and integrated applications required
  • Experience with VisualStudio code or similar IDE required
  • Understand and adhere to software development standards, guidelines, and protocols 
  • Ability to write and understand moderately complex Salesforce code and queries
  • Ability to understand moderately complex business and technical solutions
  • Understanding of Salesforce as an Enterprise level platform
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
  • Ability to self-motivate and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill
