Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking for a new opportunity with a supportive and collaborative team? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join a dynamic accounting consultancy firm that specializes in the Architecture and Engineering industries. This remote role offers the chance to work closely with multiple small business clients, manage their bookkeeping needs, and lead a team of bookkeepers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and address their accounting needs with prompt and effective solutions.
- Provide comprehensive monthly accounting services, including banking and cash management, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and state and local tax calculations.
- Oversee month-end close processes and prepare year-end financial statements.
- Utilize your understanding of small business accounting practices, with a preference for experience in the Architecture and Engineering sectors.
- Mentor and train interns and new staff members to ensure their professional growth and integration into the team.

Qualifications:

- At least 10 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience within a smaller company.
- Proven management experience and the ability to supervise accounting professionals.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and other accounting software like Deltek Ajera.
- Strong grasp of GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
- An accounting degree is preferred; a CPA license is a plus.
