Title: Scientist (Office Scientific Clinical)

Location: Mason OH 45040

Duration: 12 months

Shift: 7:30 and finish at 3:30 or you can start at 9:30 and finish at 5:30.

Hybrid with 3 day/week at MBIC (Can be flexible if needed) usually TWTh

Must haves:

• Experience with an interest in Data.

Nice to haves:

• Ability to translate high level business needs into more specific requirements for IT teams to develop against (in partnership with a Business Analyst).
• Core to role is to create new Data streams for R&D (the team creates 1015 new sources of data/yr. with about 6 new sources of data during the time of the role)

Job Specifics (Maternity cover):

• Team
• Part of a Digital Innovation Data and Analytics Section of about 10 and a Department of about 50.
• Using previous understanding of R&D partner with a Data champions team of B3 leads and
• Subject matter experts (SMEs) to help define the corporate needs and the similarities/differences in the requests.
• Partner with IT organization in delivering 6 new data stream sources through defining the highlevel business need and translating into detailed user requirements.
• Provide advisorylevel support and technical guidance to 3 FTE members responsible for data quality and help in the prioritization of current business data stream enhancements.
• Create and share success stories (1/month) training related to the data space across R&D and support the design of DIs personal data map.

• Industry: R&D with relation to IT (also okay for manufacturing or commercial background)
• Ideal years of experience: about 10 or more

• Its the ability to piece together our whole technical story from lots of lots of small pieces.
• collaborate efficiently with lots of different people.
• Interest and ability in data (data handling and manipulation)
• Spreadsheets ideally at least uses IF function in excel.
• Experience in JMP used for statistical analysis.

Job Description:

• Must have a BS (MS PhD) degree and several years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: analytical chemistry organic chemistry biochemistry biology microbiology molecular biology/gene engineering methods validation pharmacology NDA quality assurance quality control report writing or calculations.
• Experience is defined as Handon techniques gained in academic or industrial settings.
• Guides and influences technical project direction and solves significant technical problems by leveraging scientific/engineering skills and strong foundational R&D understanding developed through handson experimentation/application.
• Performs Application work and demonstrates implementation skills leveraging knowledge that moves projects forward and begins to gain exposure to and demonstrate initial proficiency in performing integration work.
