D4 Construction Services is a leading construction company that provides a wide range of construction services to clients in various industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Accountant to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring project budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets and ensure timely and accurate tracking of project expenses
• Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends and issues that could impact project performance
• Monitor and maintain project accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and update project budgets and forecasts
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, including cost estimates and pricing models
• Conduct cost analyses and support decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as government regulations and reporting requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
