Position Overview: As an Online Travel Advisor / Sales Consultant, your primary role will be to assist clients in selecting and booking travel arrangements tailored to their preferences while driving sales to meet business objectives. This role requires a strong passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close sales effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget, offering personalized travel recommendations and solutions
  • Sales Execution: Drive sales by converting client inquiries into confirmed bookings, using your knowledge of travel products and destinations
  • Booking & Coordination: Handle all aspects of travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, ensuring seamless execution of travel plans
  • Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trip, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about travel trends, destination updates, and industry developments to provide clients with the most current and relevant advice
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals and marketing campaigns

     
Qualifications:

 
  • Experience in sales, with a background in the travel industry preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and closing sales
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to read/write English fluently. Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
