Job Description

Autonomy Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Installer to join our team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for the proper installation of a wide range of building products, including fireplaces, insulation, doors, windows, stairs, cabinets, sinks, and millwork in residential and commercial settings. You will ensure that each installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of building products, such as fireplaces, insulation, doors, windows, stairs, cabinets, sinks, and millwork, according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
• Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and written instructions to complete accurate and precise installations.
• Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
• Perform quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure proper alignment, sealing, and operation of installed items.
• Communicate with project managers, supervisors, and clients to ensure the project is progressing as expected and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Use hand and power tools, as well as specialized installation equipment, safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and following safety protocols at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering client questions and addressing concerns during the installation process.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in installing building products such as insulation, doors, windows, fireplaces, or millwork is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation instructions precisely.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
  • Strong communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Certifications: Certification in specific installations (fireplaces, windows, etc.) is a plus but not required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, kneeling, and lifting heavy materials (up to [insert weight]).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment regularly.
• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and in confined spaces.
• Capable of working in various indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to different weather conditions.
