ProLift Garage Doors seeks an experienced Garage Door Installer to perform installations throughout Anne Arundel County, Hartford County, Eastern Shore, and surrounding areas. If you have prior experience working as a residential installer and seek a part-time position, please apply.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of residential garage doors – including retrofit and new construction.
• Products, buildings, and applications differ from case to case; the candidate must be able to complete installation professionally regarding safety, functionality, and performance, working within the guidelines of the manufacturer’s installation instructions.

Skills Required

• Previous experience servicing/ installing garage doors - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the residential garage door service
• Mechanical aptitude – knowledge and skill in using various hand and power tools.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public
• Demonstrates a "Go Getter" mindset who wants to be a part of an exciting company that's in hyper-growth mode
• Team player
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Basic math and legible handwriting.
• Weekend availability (preferred)
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and be insurable.

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent with two plus years' experience would provide the skills and abilities necessary to complete the job.

Physical Demands

Requires frequently: Standing, lifting 50 lbs., Carrying 50 lbs., walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching above and below shoulder level; full use of hands, good finger dexterity, lifting from floor to waist and twisting of torso. It also includes working in cramped garages, on ladders, with power tools, and performing manual labor outside, exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain, and other adverse weather conditions.

Experience

• Door Installation – Minimum three years experience (Required)

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
