Job Summary:

We're excited to welcome a Remote Data Entry Clerk to our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our data accurate and up-to-date. We're looking for someone with strong typing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Your efforts will ensure our data remains reliable and easily accessible for both our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enter data accurately into various databases and systems from source documents, meeting deadlines.
- Review and correct data for errors or inconsistencies and ensure the output matches the source documents.
- Verify information by cross-checking with source materials.
- Update and retrieve data as needed, and perform regular backups to safeguard information.
- Organize and maintain files and records to facilitate easy data retrieval.
- Work with team members to resolve any data entry issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive information.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to identify errors.
- Proficient in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in data management or related fields are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with remote work and virtual collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.
