Job Summary: Interim HealthCare of Ann Arbor is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a CNA/Home Health Aide/Caregiver in Howell, Michigan. This is a full-time, salaried position in the healthcare/medical industry and will primarily involve providing one-on-one care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is committed to providing high-quality care and improving the lives of those they serve. Please note: The client has several pets, including cats and a bird, so being comfortable around animals is a must! Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $17 to $19 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, Interim HealthCare offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility by assisting with transfers, ambulation, and exercises
• Prepare and serve meals according to client’s dietary restrictions and preferences
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to the supervising nurse or case manager
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Follow all infection control protocols and maintain client confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as with the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Active CNA certification in the state of Michigan (CNA ONLY)
• At least 6 months of experience as a CNA, home health aide, or caregiver
• Knowledge of personal care tasks, including but not limited to, bathing, toileting, and grooming
• Ability to lift and transfer clients with varying levels of mobility and agility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
