Senior Helpers of Greater Marin is seeking a caregiver for couples' care in the Marina District of San Francisco. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11AM-8PM. Duties include providing personal care for a 91 year old female client (assistance in the shower and restroom, and help getting dressed and with grooming). The male client is 92 and is more independent with personal care but still needs help setting up showers, standing by for safety, and help with ADLs. Other duties include medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands. A driver is preferred. Dementia experience is also preferred. What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Having fun, engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships Participating in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.) Preparing simple meals for your clients to enjoy Assisting your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living Reporting what activities were completed with your clients, providing updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior It’s easy to go to work when you’re making someone’s day.
